Exceptional Weddings
Select your wedding spot from the 38,000 square feet of event space available.  While we can create your vision in any of the rooms, may we suggest considering one of the following locales:
  • The Thornton Room - This magnificent salon is the perfect spot for an elegant celebration of your nuptials.  Toast to your beloved and guests as you gaze at the unparalleled views of our nation's capital. Warm colors and luxurious finishes provide a beautiful setting for a cocktail reception from 50 to 150 guests, or a lavish sit-down banquet for 30 to 96.   The salons can also accommodate an intimate ceremony, if you desire.
  • Regency Ballroom – This lovely open space easily allows seating for all your guests, along with a dance floor and more.  No wedding list is too large for this room, which can host over 800 for a sit-down dinner if needed.  Invite your guests to mingle while they enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres in the adjoining Regency Foyer.
  • Columbia – Choose any or all of Columbia to suit your needs.  Combine Columbia A with the Columbia Foyer for a separate cocktail hour and reception, or for your ceremony and dinner. Columbia will seat from 72 to 360 for a banquet, as well as 80 to 450 guests for a reception. 
  • Off-Site Weddings - Hyatt Regency Washington is available to provide catering at additional wedding sites throughout DC through our off-premise catering company, Monumental Affairs.
